The Police Station No. 9 is located at Jupiter Street, Macasandig, Cagayan de Oro City, with a distance of 2.5 kms from Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO).

It composed of two (2) Rural Barangays namely: Barangay Nazareth and Barangay Macasandig, and a portion of Brgy Indahag, Sitio Taguano, with a population of 2,500. Barangay Nazareth headed by Brgy chairwoman Jocelyn Rodriguez , has a population of 20,907 an area of 1.051835 square kilometers, while Barangay Macasandig headed by Brgy Chairman Aaron M Neri Sr., has a population of 26,993 an a land area of 3.97585 square kilometers with a grand total of 50,400 This Station is bounded by Barangay 1, 40, 38 and 37 at the North, Barangay Camaman-an at the east, Barangay Balulang at the west and Barangay Indahag at the south. Seven (7) Churches of different religious sectors, Ten (10) schools both private and public, eight (8) subdivisions, even (7) cell sites, two (2) Gasoline stations, two (2) COWD reservoirs, one (1) CEPALCO Sub station and one (1) Bank within the area, jurisdiction of this Station. With 38 personnel.
