Police Station Nr. 4 is located at the ground floor of Carmen Market, Carmen which is situated at the Western portion and under the First District of Cagayan de Oro City. It was activated as a police station on December 08, 2005 under the administration of (Ret.) PSSUPT HONORIO CERVANTES, City Director, COCPO. It’s previous station commanders were PSINSP BUENAVENTURA REYES, PSINSP EXUDIO VIDAL, PSINSP JERWIN BOYORO, PCINSP ROY MAGSALAY, PSINSP ROEL TUGA, PSINSP JORAM JUMALON, PCINSP AARON MANDIA, PSINSP NERIO ZULUAGA GEROY and presently under the leadership of PCINSP DEXTER GABOR PAJE.

Police Station Nr. 4 comprises six (6) Barangays, namely: Barangay’s Balulang, Bayabas, Bonbon, Carmen, Kauswagan, and Patag. It has a total land area of 38.517437 sq. kms. and estimated population of 183,500 .
