Police Station No.2 is situated at the heart of Barangay 33 inside the new Cogon Public Market Building facing north. It has total land coverage of 1,125 hectares which comprises of seventeen (17) Barangays of which fifteen (15) are considered urban and the other two (2) are rural Barangays. The entire area has an estimated population of 75,086 inhabitants. Likewise, its boundaries are as follows: On the North it is Recto Avenue under Barangay no. 27, on the East is Barangay Lapasan, on the West is Corrales Avenue under Barangay 40, and Barangay towards the South.

The data by the National Statistics Office registered the Area covered by PS2 has a total population of 75,086 as of 01 July 2007, with the registered voters of 48,500 and with 2 number of polling places.
